ITMA's primary aim is to promote and disseminate the field of Information Systems and Technologies within academia, organizations, and society.
To achieve this goal, the Association may undertake any activities it deems necessary or appropriate, including:
a) Conducting assessments of Information Systems and Technologies and their integration into society and businesses;
b) Informing citizens, companies, and other entities about matters related to Information Systems and Technologies;
c) Supporting and developing initiatives that extend the benefits of Information Systems and Technologies to as many citizens and companies as possible;
d) Promoting and conducting research in Information Systems and Technologies and related fields;
e) Establishing and fostering technical-scientific forums that connect academia, industry, and society;
f) Creating and promoting technical-scientific publications on Information Systems and Technologies;
g) Developing and offering training programs in Information Systems and Technologies and related fields;
h) Providing consultancy services in Information Systems and Technologies and related domains;
i) Participating in associations, cooperatives, societies, or other legal entities when such participation aligns with the Association’s objectives;
j) Establishing agreements and partnerships with entities interested in collaborating toward the Association’s mission.
