Physical Movement Helps Learning: Teaching Using Tracking Objects With Depth Camera
Physical activity is the main element in the motor and cog-nitive development of high school students. Recent studies have shownthat physical exercise has a positive influence on health, as well as of-fering an improvement in intellectual performance. In this article, a toolbased on the Kinect sensorization system has been developed, throughwhich, students are interacted with through games and activities. Byusing this tool, teachers can promote knowledge of a certain area, as wellas physical activity, through play. In order to validate the system, a casestudy has been carried out in a school with real students.
