Socialpg: Proposal To Build Pervasive Social Play Experiences

SocialPG is a model proposal that describes social expansion as a strategy to enhance game experiences supported by pervasive computing. It shows its compo-nents, how they relate, and what is the interaction flow that a user experiences when getting involved; among the most important aspects is the incorporation of a new role to the traditional game mechanics, the spectator. The incorporation of the spectator offers the opportunity to promote communication schemes with the players, strengthen the affinity ties between spectator-player and expose a series of premises to build pervasive game mechanics. This research, besides incorporating and formalizing additional elements to SocialPG, in consequence of the feedback received from its presentation in other scientific events, includes an ex-pert validation applied under Delphi methodology that shows the acceptance of the model and possible opportunities for improvement.
